Position : Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech – Mission Hospital

Location : 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801 – K Tower, Floor K2

Shift : Day / Night coverage (weekends : every 7th weekend; one secondary night call during the week)

Staffing :

2 single-plane (GE) and 2 biplane (Philips) rooms, plus one Invasive CT scanner

Day shift : 2 techs per room + 1 nurse per room

Night shift : 1 tech + 1 RN

Patient ratio : 1 : 1

EMR : Cerner (Radnet)

Requirements :

Must-have : Previous IR / Cath lab experience, moderate sedation experience

Certifications : BLS

Preferred : Neurointerventional experience, vascular OR experience, Cath Lab, VI Registered

Typical Procedures :

Dialysis work (Permcaths, fistulagrams), nephrostomy tubes, arteriograms / embolizations, Y-90, G tubes, TIPS, Inari cases

Cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipelines, mechanical thrombectomies, vertebroplasties

Personality Fit : Flexible, strong team player

Dress Code : Hospital-provided scrubs

Floating Areas : Vascular OR
