We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Insurance Agency Team Member to join our well-established Shelter Insurance agency in Hiawatha, KS. For nearly 30 years, we’ve proudly served the Hiawatha and Northeast Kansas community with integrity, outstanding service, and a strong commitment to local involvement. Now, we’re looking for someone who shares our passion for helping people protect what matters most.

About the Role :

As an Insurance Agency Team Member, you’ll play a vital role in the daily success of our office. Your responsibilities will include :

Providing exceptional customer service and handling client inquiries

Managing office operations and assisting with recordkeeping

Supporting insurance sales and claims processing

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients

Contributing to the agency’s overall goals and community involvement

What We’re Looking For :

Strong communication and organizational skills

A passion for customer service and problem-solving

Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to a dynamic office

Property and Casualty license preferred – not required

(Licensing support may be available for the right candidate)

Prior insurance experience is a plus, but not necessary
