The Role :

• Location : near Somerset, KY
• Assignment duration : Locum Obstetrics / Gynecologist needed to start ASAP and work ongoing
• Coverage Type : Call Only.
• Call Type : In-House.
• Practice Settings : Inpatient.
• The department has 2 OR and 39;s for c-sections and emergencies
• Must have a clean background (no issues)
• Required Specialty Skills : Low risk pregnancy, High risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation - NST / CST / FSE, OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation, Level I / Screening (viability)Level II / Targeted (anatomic), Amniocentesis, Routine delivery (Vaginal, Low forceps, Decision-making for c-section), Complicated delivery (C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBAC and 39;s), Repair of 3rd; 4th degree lacerations, Surgical gynecology - Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic / minor only - tubal ligation, LOA and 39;s, chronal tubation, Operative / major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA and 39;s.Certification Required : BLS. PALS.
• Licensed in KY or IMLC.
• EMR : MediTech.
• Credentialing : 60 days.
