[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, visitors, and patients. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregularities as observed. Assist with access control and visitor management in accordance with site-specific protocols. Document incidents, observations, and activities thoroughly and promptly as required by Allied Universal and client guidelines. Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed to support a secure environment for all individuals on site. Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish. Must be at least 21 years of age. A valid Class B driver's license with passenger endorsement is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
