Job Description: SUMMARY Instructs multi-week classes ofinterest within Encore Campus, the Lifelong Learning program of CuyahogaCommunity College. For over 30 years, the College's Center for AgingInitiatives has been the premier provider of lifelong learning opportunitiesfor individuals 55 and older. Based on the concept of providing lifelonglearning programs within an academic environment, Encore Campus holds to aneducation standard that recognizes the intellectual interests of olderstudents.
To maintain an exciting and qualityeducation experience, the program is always interested in new instructors whocan enrich our curriculum.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS Provides instruction that matches the level and interest of students.
Develops and presents curriculum that exhibits the value of lifelong learning.
Performs other duties as assigned.

- The work is performed in a normal, professional office environment.
- The work area is adequately lit, heated, and ventilated.
- Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the duties of the job and will perform repetitive motions with hands/fingers using a computer mouse and keyboard to type. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items such as papers, files, pamphlets, books, etc.
- Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the worksite.
Special Note: This is a Part-Time Non-Bargaining Unit Position, with the following Set Rate of Pay: $30.00/ hour. If hired, you must reside in the state of Ohio and be within commuting distance of this work location/campus to respond to onsite work demands upon the employment start date and throughout the duration of your employment with the College, as outlined in 3354:1-40-01.1 Recruitment and Selection Procedure.
