  • Healthcare Setting : Medical Intensive Care Unit (ICU)\n
  • Assignment Type : Travel Nursing\n
  • Start Date : October 20, 2025\n
  • End Date : January 17, 2026\n
  • Contract Duration : 13 weeks\n
  • Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week\n
  • Weekend Rotation : Every other weekend\n
  • Holiday Coverage : 75% of holidays required\n
  • Scrub Color : Navy (white or navy undershirt; no T-shirts or Crocs)\n
  • Parking : Free onsite parking\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570 - $1680 per week\n

    • \n\nICU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (North Carolina or compact state)\n
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications\n
  • Minimum 18 months to 2 years of recent ICU RN experience\n
  • Proficiency in stroke care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, ART lines, CVPs, critical care drips, chest tubes, PIV starts, TNK administration, ventilator management, trach care, NGT placement, drain / tube management, PCA pumps, wound care, and 12-lead EKGs\n
  • Ability to float within the region (Med / Tele, ICU, PCU, ED holds, Behavioral Health for med pass / charting)\n
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred\n
  • Strong communication skills and openness to constructive feedback\n

    • \n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care to ICU and Med / Tele patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, COPD, CHF, MI, stroke, and respiratory illnesses\n
  • Manage patient assignments of 2-3 patients per shift, based on acuity\n
  • Perform NIH stroke assessments and participate in comprehensive stroke care\n
  • Administer and titrate critical care and cardiac drips, blood products, and medications\n
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry for the unit\n
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including house supervisors, charge nurses, respiratory therapists, and hospitalists\n
  • Float to other units or facilities within the region as needed, within scope of practice\n
  • Participate in orientation and adhere to all facility policies and procedures\n
