  • Job Summary :

We are seeking a diligent and responsible Overnight Security Officer to join our team for the third shift. The role involves overseeing the safety and security of our elderly community during nighttime hours. The successful candidate will have excellent observational skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment for our residents.

  • Responsibilities :
  • Conduct regular patrols of the facility and its premises during assigned hours.
  • Monitor surveillance equipment, alarms, and any unusual activity to ensure the safety of residents and staff.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to any security breaches or emergencies.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of observations, incidents, and activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the community staff to enhance safety protocols and address security concerns.
  • Assist residents and guests by providing information and guidance as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all security and safety protocols established by the organization.
  • Qualifications :
  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Must be available to work overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM).
  • Ability to pass a background check and any required screenings.
  • Preferred Skills :
  • Certification in security or relevant training.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
