We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to be based out of Cartersville, GA and reporting to the Plant Manager, this position will be responsible for machine uptime, product and process improvement, quality control, maintaining data integrity and capital expenditure requests. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.

What you'll do :

• Identify and implement improvement opportunities in manufacturing processes and procedures. Create standard work and work instruction as needed.
• Engineering support for the plant operation. Supporting and collaborating with other CMNA plant operations.
• Develop and create manufacturing drawings, visual inspections, and go / no go gauges.
• Work closely with production team to optimize manufacturing processes and eliminate quality issues.
• Implement change management processes.
• Maintain and develop all product routings.
• Direct maintenance on troubleshooting manufacturing lines and reducing machine downtime.
• Schedule contractors and OEM's as needed for equipment repair and PM.
• Interface with product engineering to support new product development and commercial initiatives relevant to the plant.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $ 64,320 - $88,440. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
