Entry-Level CAD Technician

Freese and Nichols is currently searching for an Entry-Level CAD Technician to join our Stormwater team in North Texas. Join a company with established CAD standards and the opportunity to build your career. In this role, you will:

• Learn and refer to FNI CAD Standards and follow instructions per direction from PM, Designers, and Lead CAD Staff.
• Prepare simple engineering and construction drawings.
• Interpret sketches and markups to incorporate into sheets.
• Apply revisions from markups and backchecks work.
• Place and manage files according to CAD Standards, and prepare final drawings.

Qualifications

Required:

• 1+ years performing CAD functions.
• Knowledge of CAD, mathematical aptitude, and a moderate level of 3D visualization.
• High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

• Associate degree in CAD.
