A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a  Datawarehouse Engineer.

Position : Datawarehouse Engineer

Location : Plano, TX and Jersey City, NJ

Position Type : W2 contract

Duration : 12+ Months

Hybrid : 3 Days onsite and 2 days remote

The ideal candidate will have : Python, Shell, Oracle, Data Warehousing, Perl and Database Development

Job Description :

• Proven experience as a Data Warehouse Engineer with a strong emphasis on Shell Scripting and Oracle development.
• Practical working experience in Linux environment setup and shell scripting.
• Practical knowledge of Unix file systems including basics of mount types, permissions, standard tools, pipes.
• Working knowledge of Python and preferably also Perl.
• Practical working experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle Exadata.
• Understanding of the Agile methodology.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Passion for automation and continual process improvement.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field.
• Implement, configure, and manage Linux-based processes and infrastructure for data warehousing.
• Identify and implement system / architecture improvements.
• Enhance various Linux-based toolsets, scripts, jobs and processes.

Enhance ETL / database load / extract processes.
