JOB SUMMARY
ThePathways Learning Academy Liaisonwill report to the CentralfpKIDSPastorandis responsible forensuring the partnershipbetween Pathways Learning Academy(PLA)and Faith Promiseis successfulandensuringboth PLA and Faith Promiseare up to dateon business practices and roleisalsoresponsible forcurriculummanagementand developmentforfpKIDS parent communication at multiple Faith Promise campuses overseeing childcare schedulingat the North Knoxville and Pellissippi Campuses interviewing for childcare roles and for managingchildcare employees.
JOB DETAILS
- Manage and foster a positive and close working relationship withfpKIDSministry to ensure the school isoperatingaccording to the values of Faith Promise Church
Regularly be at the school to ensure necessary teamwork
Stay informed on all school related mattersBuild a team of mid-week leaders who will go into the PLA classes and lead Biblical lessonsEnsure the relationship between the school and Faith Promise Church is successful and healthyBuild relationships withnew staff school directors church staff and management to ensure the partnership is successful
Act as the liaison between the School Director and FaithPromise ChurchEscalate items between the two as needed
Keep each side updated on current practices procedures and compliance rulesPrepare andfacilitateregular meetings with the church and school to discuss the ongoing partnershipConnect and promotefpKIDSand Faith Promise to attending familiesPlan family activities for families during drop off / pick up (donuts with dad etc.)Manage and delegate the transition process of the schools space in the church outside of the schools regular operating hoursEnsure all classrooms are set up for Mondays for the school and that the rooms are torn down on Fridays or when needed in line with Faith Promises preferred set up for the weekend orspecial events
Maintainall documents related to classroom set up and tear down process to ensure a seamless weekly transition between the school and Faith Promise ChurchAttend local marketing events and organize staff attendance at other community-based events aimed to promote andincreaseenrollment at the schoolManage and oversee the Childcare Team at the North Knoxville and Pellissippi CampusesEnsure all Childcare Team members are scheduled at both campuses
Assist in the interviewing and hiring of the Childcare TeamsApprove timecards for the Childcare TeamsPerform all other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor Senior Leadership Team or CentralfpKIDSPastorBENEFITS AND COMPENSATION
This position is a full-time FLSA non-exempt role with an expected schedule of40 hoursper week. Benefit offerings include Medical Insurance Health Savings Account 403b Retirement Life Insurance Dental Vision Accident and Critical Illness coverage. Employees alsoaccruepaid Vacation and PTO time. Compensation isdeterminedbased on educationexperienceand based on the annual compensation study thatestablishesFP Compensation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Experience leading a group of volunteers5 years of experience in a licensed childcare centerMust meet state licensing requirements foreducation andexperience to work in a licensed childcare centerHigh School Diploma or equivalentTeam playerExcellent communication skillsDetail-oriented and organizedFlexible and adaptable must be able to work with frequent interruptions and changing prioritiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with non-profit organizationsExperience in working with a growing or decentralized organization3 years of experience in a licensed childcare center as a lead teacher or administrator3 years of experience in a customer facing roleKey Skills
