From delivering safe drinking water and treating wastewater responsibly to developing sustainable water supplies and protecting lives and property through flood control, your work will directly support public health, environmental sustainability, and infrastructure resilience. In the role of Mechanical Engineering Intern, we'll count on you to :

• Gain real-world experience on exciting projects
• Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
• Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures
• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager

Aid in the preparation of plans and specifications for water pipelines and pumping facilities and wastewater facilities & treatment systems

Write first drafts of technical memoranda

Read and understand technical manuals

Prepare spreadsheet calculations

Perform construction cost estimates
