JOB TITLE: Stroke Program Coordinator REPORTS TO: CNO POSITION SUMMARY: The stroke program coordinator is responsible for the coordination of systems and services required to maintain an organized, interdisciplinary, patient centered Stroke Center. The stroke program coordinator works in collaboration with the CNO to initiate and manage operations associated with program development and ongoing performance improvement for the stroke program. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. A minimum of at least three years of nursing experience in an acute care setting. A minimum of at least two years of experience in a critical care setting. Experience with computer software applications such as Microsoft Office. Experience with data collection, analysis and report writing. BSN preferred. Prior stroke program experience preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a current California RN license and BLS. ACLS required within 90 days of hire or status change.
