Assistant Teacher Early Childhood Education
Location: The Learning Experience Columbus Circle, NY
Pay: $18$20 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time, MondayFriday

The Learning Experience Columbus Circle is seeking a dependable and caring Assistant Teacher to support our early childhood classrooms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children, contributing to a positive classroom environment, and growing within the early childhood education field.

Our center provides a structured, play-based learning environment that supports childrens social, emotional, and developmental growth through consistent routines and hands-on learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Lead Teachers in daily classroom activities and learning experiences
  
  
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and developmentally appropriate classroom
  
  
• Assist with daily routines including meals, diapering or toileting, rest time, and transitions
  
  
• Engage children through play, learning centers, and positive guidance
  
  
• Support classroom organization and end-of-day readiness
  
  
• Communicate professionally with families and team members
  
  
• Follow all New York City Department of Health licensing requirements and center policies
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
  
  
• Reliable, nurturing, and team-oriented
  
  
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
  
  
• Ability to meet all New York City childcare licensing and background requirements
