Role: Civil Engineering Land Development Project Manager / Director

This exciting opportunity is for an accomplished professional who thrives on managing complex private-sector land development projects from concept through construction while mentoring teams, building client relationships, and driving business success. Take ownership of project delivery across subdivisions, commercial developments, and infrastructure improvements, managing multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and technicians while fostering professional growth and technical excellence. Collaborate directly with clients to provide proactive consulting solutions, build long-term relationships, pursue repeat business, and actively identify new project opportunities in California's growing communities.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or Planning (Master's degree preferred)
• California Professional Engineer (PE) license required - or equivalent experience with ability to obtain CA registration
• 10+ years of experience in civil engineering or land development
• At least 5 years in a project management or leadership capacity
• Strong understanding of land development processes, private consulting environments, and project lifecycle management
• Expert knowledge in subdivision design, grading, drainage, utility coordination, and agency permitting
• Proficiency in CAD/drafting tools and project management software
• Proven ability to lead project planning, contract negotiation, budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance
• Exceptional leadership skills with ability to inspire teams and communicate effectively across all levels
• Track record of managing multiple active developments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets
