Construction Inspector

Gonzalez Companies is a partner managed firm that provides comprehensive Planning, Design, and Construction Management Services to large and small Water, Sewer and Utility Districts; Departments of Transportation; and municipalities. We are currently seeking a Construction Inspector to help serve our connection of clients and community. Your Primary Responsibilities will include

• Inspect and monitor day-to-day construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Observe installation of roads, utilities, pipelines, concrete structures, and related infrastructure components.
• Verify dimensions, materials, and workmanship to confirm conformance with design documents.
• Maintain accurate and detailed field inspection reports, daily logs, and photographic documentation.
• Assist with quantity tracking, material submittal reviews, and pay estimate verification.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and utility companies to resolve field issues and maintain construction progress.
• Monitor site safety practices and immediately report any unsafe conditions or violations.
• Attend progress meetings, site walkthroughs, and inspections with clients and regulatory agencies.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
