[job_card.job_description]DVM / VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program). 1-2 years of experience in emergency medicine is preferred, though new graduates with a passion for urgent care are encouraged to apply. Strong clinical skills and the ability to handle multiple patients with varying priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a veterinary team. A commitment to providing exceptional care in line with a Fear Free approach and a feline-friendly practice environment. Flexible schedule , including Swing / Second Shifts to accommodate a work-life balance. Urgent care-only environment -no wellness care, allowing you to focus on treating critical patients. A partner hospital is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its dynamic team in Greenwood, IN . This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian with a passion for emergency medicine and a desire to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced, supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a DVM degree and experience in emergency or urgent care medicine.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide urgent care services to animals in need of immediate medical attention.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other medical conditions.
- Administer medications, fluids, and other treatments as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets' health and treatment plans.
