The Role :

• Location : near Lowell / Charlotte, NC
• Assignment duration : Locum Gastroenterologists needed to start ASAP and work ongoing
• We are looking for another GI locum to cover 7-10 days at a time for hospital coverage.
• The call varies.
• There can be anywhere from 6-15 consults in a day, it truly varies.
• Call Type : In-House.
• Specialty Skills Required : Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), with injection of varices),With PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy), Esophageal dilatation / manometry, Esophageal manometry interpretation, Small Bowel biopsy, Lower GI endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Flexible, Rigid, Colonoscopy (with biopsy, with excision of polyp), Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS).Specialty Skills Preferred : ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), Diagnostic, Therapeutic. ACLS, BLS
• Fellowship : Required.
• Licensed in NC only.
• EMR : Epic.
• Credentialing : 60-90 days.
