Private practice Non-Invasive cardiology openings in Western Massachusetts- Non-invasive - $500K guarantee first year

Key Highlights :

  • First year guaranteed floor compensation of $450,000 with no production component in year one as you build the practice. Long-term earnings potential and compensation structure will be discussed directly with the group.
  • Group is offering a first-year recruitment bonus of $50,000 with 25K paid at signing and 25K at the end of the first year of employment.
  • Outstanding 401K (funded 100% by the group) and separate Profit-sharing plan starting in year 2. Most providers elect for the IRS allowable maximum funding.
  • Practice call frequency is 3 times per month including 6-7 weekends per year. Covering 2 local hospitals (physician and APP backup coverage)

About the group :

  • Physician owned private practice Single specialty Cardiology group is seeking Non-Invasive physicians to join their group.
  • Openings are available immediately or for 2025 start date. Group is growing and doing some succession planning both.
  • Very stable group that was opened in 1971.
  • Partnership after 2 years. Partnership allows physicians to partake in group compensation model and get 4 extra days of vacation.
  • Group has 12 physicians and 12 APP s and 125 employees. 2 offices only 4 blocks apart. Offices are attached to the local hospitals for convenience.
  • Full-service cardiology practice with 30,000 active patients and growing.
  • Group has full suite of cardiac testing available. This includes Stress Testing, Cardiac Monitoring as well as Nuclear, Echocardiography and Vascular Testing services. Testing suite is open Monday through Friday from 7 : 30-5 : 00pm.
  • Group is just starting programs for Cardiac PET and mitral clips and is already doing EP cardiology and TAVR services. Huge demand in the community for additional EP cardiology services.

  • Located in Western Massachusetts metro area. City population of 153,000 in the city limits. Service area of 400,000+.
  • Located 90 minutes from Boston, MA and less than an hour to Worcester, MA. 2.5 hours to New York City. Local airport only 30 miles away in Hartford, CT. Local Amtrak as well.
  • 5 colleges / universities in the local region, which is referred to as the Five College Area.
  • Excellent public education system in town or choice of several world class private schools

  • Family health insurance, life insurance, disability, 401K / Profit Sharing plan (1 year waiting period), dental (voluntary), health spending account, licensing fees, DEA, dues and subscriptions.
  • Paid benefits coverage is based on production model.
  • Paid occurrence-based malpractice insurance
  • Time off : Associates start at 35 days off per year. Senior Associates get 40 days off per year and full partners get 44 days off per year. These days off are all-inclusive for CME, vacations and 9 paid holidays.
