Assignment Length : Contract duration of 13 weeks (Originally scheduled to end 16 / 03 / 2026), with 48-hour weekly contracts

Certification and License Requirements :

Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of Nebraska (or appropriate compact state license)

ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required

BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) – Required

NIHSS Certification (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) – Required

What You Bring :

Valid and current Nebraska RN license or eligible for licensure across compact states

At least 1-2 years of recent experience in Step Down, ICU, PCU, or MedSurg units, with the ability to adapt quickly to diverse patient needs

Proven competency in managing post-acute and complex patient cases within a high-acuity setting

Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Education & Experience :

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred

Prior travel nursing experience highly desirable

Experience with cardiovascular, neurological, or general ICU / PCU units, particularly managing PCU patients and understanding patient ratios

Knowledge of current best practices in critical care and step-down units
