Job Title : UX Designer AI Product Team

Location : Remote (U.S. only)

Overview :

This a great opportunity for a junior level designer to jump into the space of designing products that are centered on applying AI in the industrial software space. This will include (1) research on UX patterns associated to AI use cases (2) developing internal and customer-facing solutions including chatbots administrative portals and other features relevant to delivering AI in the enterprise and (3) working with product teams to incubate new offerings for the market that combine data and agents across the digital thread (CAD ALM PLM SLM) to generate new business for addition to this innovation work you will also get the opportunity to work with a seasoned designer providing an opportunity to develop your core design skills. We are looking for someone who is foremost passionate about PTCs vision and AI-based technologies and at the core has a good sense for design practices visualization interactions user empathy research-based decisions etc.

Responsibilities : Areas of focus :

• UX Design (80%) : Support and deliver the creation of UX design artifacts; including requirements gathering use case definition interaction design and user flows prototyping and visual design execution. Collaborate with and support senior team members while helping ensure consistency and usability across products. Assist in documenting AI usage guidelines standards and specification definition.
• Cross-functional Collaboration (10%) : Participate in design critiques reviews and working sessions with product UX and engineering teams to gather feedback and align on shared goals.
• Team Culture (10%) : Engage in team rituals mentorship opportunities and design-related events. Contribute to a positive inclusive and collaborative team culture.

Skills and Knowledge :

Experience :

Track record of working with designers developers and product managers to ensure cohesive design language and consistency. Support of UX quality assurance and user validation processes to ensure design components meet high standards of usability and accessibility. Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills yet self-reliant resourceful and able to work independently. Ability to utilize strong communication and collaboration skills while working in an agile UX process.

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in UX Design Human Factors or related field 1-3 years of experience as a UX Designer in :

An understanding of user-centered design design thinking and UX best practices

PTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $87800 - 113250. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidates skills qualifications experience and location. Additionally candidates may be eligible for a performance-based bonus. Employees also have the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program (ESPP) which allows for the purchase of discounted PTC stock.
