Security Officer - Tech Campus Unarmed Patrol

In this role, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service. Your ability to communicate clearly and respond to various situations will be key as you contribute to a secure and welcoming environment, embodying our values of teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and reporting any unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns in accordance with site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address inquiries and provide assistance as required.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities in daily reports and / or electronic systems as directed by site procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment in a technology-focused location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
