Required Skills:

• Valid medical license in Texas or ability to obtain one promptly
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related fields
• Strong knowledge of general medicine and experience with compensation and pension assessments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform interview-based evaluations and physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience working with Veterans or government contracts
• Certification in DMA or similar programs
• Familiarity with medical documentation and report submission protocols

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice, ideally including experience in government or military healthcare settings
• Proven track record in conducting compensation and pension exams or similar assessments

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work on a PRN basis, including ½ or full-day shifts
• Ability to travel locally; travel is included in rates
• Quick credentialing and onboarding process
• Availability to start by March 6, 2026

This position offers an hourly pay rate of $624.00, with additional flat rates for half-day and full-day shifts, as well as a one-time bonus upon completing initial training and exams.
