Senior Coordinator Reinsurance

Position Description :

This position coordinates and supports the reinsurance treaty administration tasks. The incumbent will ensure that the administration is performed and reported accurately within the existing controlled environment.

Position Location :

This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Cincinnati, OH or Lincoln, NE) and partially from home.

What you do :

• Coordinates testing and implementation of new treaties in administration system.
• Processes policy changes, new business, and any other regular items.
• Calculates adjustments for unusual reinsurance situations.
• Processes periodic billing statements and reviews and reconciles cash and accrual items related to reinsurance.
• Processes payment of monthly settlement amounts due to / from reinsurer.
• Performs reinsurance claims calculations, and processes claims amounts for reinsurance.
• Assists in preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Assists in reinsurance audits.
