[job_card.job_description]Competitive Pay : You will receive the following rates based on your assignment : In-Person Programs : $27 / hr to $30 / hr Plus : The opportunity to earn a program completion bonus of up to 10% of your total program earnings. Help close the opportunity gap and support urban students in reaching their full potential by providing academic assistance in Biology. Sharpen your teaching skills, build your resume, and advance your career with ongoing training and real classroom experience. Empower Students, Shape Futures As an Education Champion, you'll provide one-on-one tutoring in Biology. You’ll collaborate with teachers and school leaders to develop engaging, personalized learning strategies that help students thrive—while bridging language gaps to ensure every student has the support they need. Passion for Learning : Committed to supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved students. Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field. Available to work 10-35 hours per week at an assigned school and participate in monthly training. About the Job :
- Tutors will provide academic support in Science for students in various subjects, including Living Environment and Earth Science , from Monday to Friday .
- Responsibilities include reinforcing classroom instruction, assisting with assignments and test preparation, and helping students build a stronger understanding of key scientific concepts.
