Job Responsibilities
Prepping and administering medications to patients and residents in post-acute facilities near youSupervising residents' self-administration of medications, including reminders as neededVerifying the right person, drug, dose, route, and time against the Medication Administration Record (MAR)Documenting interventions, vital signs, or other data related to medication administrationMaintaining confidentiality of residentsReporting to the supervising nurse with any issues or concernsAssisting residents with activities of daily life (ADLs)Qualifications and Skills
Current Ohio Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certificationHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent (minimum)Applicable state nursing assistant certification (CNA / LNA / STNA)At least one year of experience as a nursing assistant (or related role)Understanding of medical and pharmacological terminologyCurrent American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providersReady to Take Control Over Your Work Schedule?
