Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with both Save Mart and Town & Country to develop promotional and new item forecasts utilizing a combination of data and systems from both organizations.
- Provide timely and accurate information on inventory flows and projections on inventory positions to support customer sales.
- Provide weekly / monthly service level reporting, trend analysis, and root cause solutions.
- Develop analysis on pallet buying opportunities.
- Lead and mentor account team members to meet all customer expectations on support requirements.
- Deliver timely and accurate sales projections for all new item and promotional activities through managing the AOM process.
- Partner with customer to coordinate seasonal show buys (including providing advanced information such as seasonal catalogs and pricing, recaps of last year's movement and sell through, and Vendor Manager insights. May provide samples as requested).
- Ensure connectivity and collaboration by attending Customer's Ad and Promotional Planning meeting and communicate to KeHE Supply Chain and Category Management teams regarding events, anticipated demand and delivery needs.
- Responsible for ensuring customer has accurate and detailed information and data for KeHE shows; assist with coordination of customer travel, meeting facilities and other needs as required.
- Partners with Customer Merchandising teams and KeHE Category Management to on-board new vendors efficiently and effectively.
- Sell productive portfolio to assure customer has the optimal product mix.
- Support execution of marketing programs in efforts to grow sales and bring innovation to stores
- Educate our customers on items and categories to keep them on trend. Provide innovative merchandising programs and direction.
- Monitor competitor activities and lead customer in development of strategy to win.
- Proper budgeting and management of sales and expenses related to the assigned customers including sales, credits, expenses, merchandising hours, drop size, MCB, EDLP, and extra performance activities.
- Communicate and work within a team with other KeHE functional areas to meet all customer and company objectives.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
4-year bachelor's degree in business preferred.
