Mechanical Assembler Build Systems That Power Critical Industries and Save Lives Control Associates is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Bloomingdale, NJ. • Read and interpret complex P&ID drawings to fabricate industrial control panels and electrical panels with precision
• Fabricate piping racks and skids for critical industrial applications
• Assemble systems using stainless steel tubing (.035-.049 wall thickness)
• Work with PVC Schedule 80 and CPVC materials
• Mechanical Assembly 80%, also perform TIG root welding when required (approximately 20% of role)
• Assemble components using Schedule 10 through Schedule 160 pipe wall thicknesses
• Apply compression fittings with precision and expertise What You'll Bring :
• 3+ years of experience assembling industrial control panels
• Ability to read and interpret complex P&ID drawings with accuracy
• Expert-level proficiency with hand tools for precision assembly
• Experience working with stainless steel panels, PVC, and CPVC
• Proven TIG welding experience
• Capable of lifting to 65 pounds and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday, including 30% of day standing.
• Short learning curve - you quickly grasp processes, deliverables, and assembly pace
