Security Officer - Hotel Front Desk

As a front desk security professional at a renowned hotel location, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service while monitoring entry points and handling access control. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your presence and communication skills. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and / or credentials of individuals entering the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Assist with visitor and contractor registration and / or sign-in processes as required by site protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with guests, staff, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and / or concerns according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
