Full-Time Resident Services Activity Manager Independent Living (flexibility on some evenings and weekends required)

Minimum Requirements :

• Bachelors degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to pass an annual DOT physical and comply with the Community Driving Policy.
• Able to safely operate an 18-passenger bus for resident trips and outings.
• Strong organizational interpersonal and social skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with senior adults.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Computer proficiency and comfort with basic technology.
• Prior experience in senior living activities or similar programming.
• Strong communication skills with residents families and staff.
• Proficiency with desktop publishing or similar software for newsletter design and development.

Physical Requirements :

Physical requirements include heavy work as defined as the exertion of up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and / or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
