Express Healthcare Staffing NY is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Rochester, New York.

Job Description & Requirements

Shift : 3x12 NIGHTS

Weekend : Every other weekend

First Time travelers : Accepted

Locals Accepted : No, must be more than 75 mile radius

Cert : ACLS / BLS Required

Charting : EPIC experience required

Need to be able to take a 1 : 5 to 1 : 7 patient ratio for MedSurg

26 beds. Cares primarily for CHF patients, acute MI's, post device care (pacemakers) and patients with arrhythmias.

Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response : Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response / Code teams

IV therapy / Phlebotomy : Peripheral Line Care / Management

Respiratory : Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management

Professional Topics and Skills : Isolation Precautions

Years of Experience : 1 year

FLOATING IS REQUIRED.
