A company is looking for a Health Information Exchange Support Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for patients and providers seeking assistance with health information portals
Respond to patient requests for portal activation and manage account deactivations in compliance with policies and regulations
Provide help desk support and educate users on navigating health information systems and privacy aspects
Required Qualifications
Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology or a relevant field, or equivalent experience
Two years of experience in healthcare information technology or a similar customer support role
One year of experience in a high-volume telephone support or help desk position
Experience with electronic medical record applications and knowledge of patient confidentiality requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
