Physical Therapist- PT Home Health, Coeur d'Alene, ID

Protouch Staffing seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dedicated home health team. This role involves providing personalized, one-on-one physical therapy services to patients in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong clinical background and a passion for helping patients regain function, mobility, and independence. This position is open to both local and traveling Physical Therapists.

Responsibilities :

• Patient Assessment and Care Planning : Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing patient assessments to develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans in collaboration with the patient, their family, and their physician.
• Therapeutic Interventions : Administer a wide range of skilled physical therapy treatments and interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, and the use of assistive devices.
• Patient and Family Education : Educate patients and their caregivers on proper body mechanics, home exercise programs, safety precautions, and disease management to promote self-care and prevent injury.
• Documentation and Communication : Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough electronic health records (EHR) of all patient visits and progress. This includes detailed OASIS documentation for Medicare and other payers.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration : Work closely with the entire healthcare team-including physicians, nurses, and other therapists-to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to patient care.
• Supervision : Provide supervision and guidance to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) as required by state regulations.

Qualifications :

Shift : M-F -8am - 5pm, 40 hours per week.

13 weeks - 26 weeks!

Benewah county, Kooteani county, Shoshone county, Bonner county

No on-call. 1 Saturday per month SOCs (negotiable)

HH required

HCHB desired

30 units per week

32 hours guaranteed

Qualifications : HCHB or the online training & HH experience required

Skills

Current State License as a Physical Therapist - Required

Proof of current CPR certification - Required

Current driver's license. Must have reliable transportation and insurance - Required

1-2 years experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting - Required

Previous home care experience - Preferred

Education

Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association approved program - Required

Compensation Details :

Total Taxable Pay : $1400

Total Non-taxable Pay : $1610

Gross Pay : $3010
