Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our dynamic team. The Estimator will play a critical role in the pre-construction phase by providing accurate cost estimates and project assessments for a variety of commercial construction projects, with a particular emphasis on projects involving architectural complexities.

Responsibilities :

Collaborate closely with the architectural team to review project plans, specifications, and drawings to gain a thorough understanding of project requirements.

Conduct comprehensive quantity take-offs and material quantity surveys to accurately determine project costs.

Utilize historical data, industry benchmarks, and cost databases to develop accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.

Prepare detailed cost estimates, proposals, and bid packages for submission to clients, ensuring alignment with project objectives, budget constraints, and timelines.

Evaluate alternative materials, construction methods, and value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs while maintaining quality standards.

Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and negotiations with clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to clarify project scope, requirements, and pricing.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and pricing fluctuations to inform cost estimating processes and enhance competitiveness.

Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to refine cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle, providing ongoing support and analysis as needed.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.

years of experience in commercial construction estimating, with a demonstrated track record of success in architectural projects.

Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Planswift) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex architectural drawings and specifications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards applicable to commercial construction projects.

Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator) are a plus.
