Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Salem, Oregon. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing individualized treatment programs under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping patients recover strength, mobility, and function following orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and conditions.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Assist the Physical Therapist in executing treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries (e.g., joint replacements, rotator cuff repair, ACL reconstruction), and musculoskeletal disorders.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, gait and balance training, and patient education.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment activities as directed by the supervising PT.
• Instruct patients on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records in accordance with clinic and regulatory standards.
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and motivating environment for patients during rehabilitation sessions.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications & Experience :

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Active Oregon PTA license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date).

3 years of experience in an orthopedic in an outpatient physical therapy setting is required
