American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and current ARRT, BLS, and Washington state licensure.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an acute care radiology department with 10 x-ray rooms and 34 OR roomsCovers general radiology, fluoroscopy, outpatient and inpatient services, outpatient ortho clinic, ER, fluoro / x-ray in CCU, and ORRotates weekly across different imaging areas, including coverage for all specified settingsAverage studies : 6-7 C-arm cases per day in OR, 10 fluoroscopy exams, 73 general x-rays per dayEquipment includes Philips DR / CR digital x-ray, GE DR portables, Ziehm and GE / OEC C-arms, Siemens O-armUses Cerner Power Chart, GE Centricity RIS, and Philips Intellispace PACS4x10 variable day shifts starting between 7 : 00am and 9 : 00am, with weekends, call, and holiday coverage as neededResponsibilities include performing general radiology, OR, portables, and fluoroscopy imaging proceduresTravelers may be scheduled to rotate through different clinical areas on a weekly basis to provide coverageFirst week includes organizational orientation and daily rotations through all assigned areasER experience is preferredTeam includes leads for supervision and in-house radiologist supportScrubs in navy or gray provided for OR assignments; wear casual clothes when arriving to changeAgency provides radiation badge for the traveler\n \n Requirements\n
Current WA state license required prior to consideration (license required if applicable)Certification in ARRT and BLS requiredMinimum of 1 year experience in radiology, including fluoroscopy and operating C-arm and O-arm equipmentProficiency with Cerner EMR, RIS, and PACS systems preferredAbility to cover all imaging modalities listedTwo professional references required : one supervisor reference from the past 12 months, and one peer or supervisor reference from the past 3 yearsCopy of driver’s license required with application\n Benefits\n
