Behavioral Health Specialist

Provide case management services to adult and geriatric populations on the inpatient behavioral health units, including patient assessment of symptoms, needs and risk,#patient education, family education and intervention,#collateral contact with mental health providers and family members, treatment planning and discharge planning.# To effectively assess the clinical needs of the adult, and make appropriate treatment and discharge plans that consider the needs of the individual.# To explain procedures and treatment needs according to the age and level of comprehension, and to provide care in a manner that respects the dignity and autonomy of the adult patient. Education : Masters degree in psychology or related field. Licenses / Registrations : LCSW in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Experience : At least one year of behavioral health, can include internship.
