Entry Level Engineer - Water / Wastewater

MKN (an Ardurra company) is seeking an Entry Level Engineer - Water / Wastewater  to join our team ideally in Irvine, CA.

Primary Function :

The Entry Level Engineer - Water / Wastewater will support wastewater treatment water reuse and biosolids projects throughout California. This role works closely with Operations Managers Principals Project Managers and senior technical staff on planning design and project delivery efforts. The position offers hands on technical experience exposure to multidisciplinary projects and opportunities for professional growth within the municipal water sector.

Primary Duties :

Assist with planning and design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Prepare engineering calculations technical memoranda reports drawings and specifications.

Support coordination with internal teams clients and regulatory agencies.

Assist with construction phase services including submittals RFIs and field support.

Support project schedules budgets and quality control efforts.

Participate in proposal development and internal training activities.

Education and Experience Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in civil environmental or related Engineering discipline

One to four years of experience in wastewater treatment, water reuse, or municipal engineering

Engineer in Training certification preferred or ability to obtain

Familiarity with California municipal projects and regulations is a plus.

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Compensation and Benefits :

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000.
