Job Description :

The collections specialist is responsible for making outbound and taking inbound calls from patients regarding their outstanding medical bills.

Explain to patients their insurance coverage, deductible, copay, etc.

De-escalate patient and address questions and concerns.

Facilitate payment plans or obtain payment in full.

Maintain patient records and documentation.

Main Position Details :

Start : Once cleared onboarding process

Pay : $20.32 / Hr (Able to earn commission after training program). Commission based on amount collected in individual contributer + a team total goal.

Training : 60 days in length. Monday - Friday 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm. Onsite in Brooklyn Center.

Schedule : Monday - Friday 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm or 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm. (Will need to work until 6 : 00pm on Mondays or Tuesdays)

Location : Brooklyn Center (training only). Fully remote after completing training program.

Duration : 6 Month Contract-to-Hire

Qualifications :

1+ year of collections experience.

1-2+ years of employment history tenure per role the past 5 years.

The pay range for this position is $20.32 - $20.32 / hr.
