(Evening) Senior Physician Assistant Compensation

The pay for this position is $171,500 – $200,000 per year

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

(Evening) Senior Physician Assistant Position Highlights

This position is permanent and includes a 10% sign-on bonus

Evening and weekend shifts required as scheduled; Week 1 : Sun, Mon, Thu, Fri | Week 2 : Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat (Weekdays 12 : 30pm–8 : 30pm; Weekends 9 : 30am–6 : 00pm)

The position may require up to 5% travel

(Evening) Senior Physician Assistant Responsibilities

Examine patients, perform comprehensive physical exams, and compile patient medical data

Administer or order diagnostic tests and interpret results

Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, suturing, immunizations, wound care, and infection management

Develop and implement patient management plans, document progress notes, and assist in continuity of care

Educate and counsel patients regarding treatment compliance, growth and development, and health maintenance

First assist in surgeries or perform other department-specific procedures as required

Facilitate admissions, transfers, discharges, and post-operative care

Mentor less experienced Physician Assistants and collaborate on performance improvement initiatives

(Evening) Senior Physician Assistant Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in Urgent Care or Emergency Department within the last 5 years

Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program

Physician Assistant License (California) required at hire

National Provider Identifier required at hire

Physician Assistant National Certificate required at hire

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Must be able to work in a Labor / Management Partnership environment

(Evening) Senior Physician Assistant Preferred Qualifications

Advanced certification in specialty area

Experience in acute care settings

Team player with the ability to work independently

Fast learner with strong patient-focused clinical skills
