Position : Pharmacist (Shift Differential)

Location : 11739 W Bradley Rd, Milwaukee, WI 53224-2531, USA

Schedule : Evening Shift, 1 : 00 PM – 9 : 30 PM (Monday–Friday, with potential Saturday coverage)

Hours : 8 hours / day, 40 hours / week

Pay Rate : $69

Role Overview

The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring compliance with legal and clinical standards, and providing patient-centered pharmaceutical care. This role includes supervising pharmacy staff, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Monitor patient medication adherence and identify overuse or misuse patterns
• Ensure prescribed medicines are clinically appropriate and legally supplied
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy files
• Provide patient counseling on :
• Dosage, storage, side effects, and drug interactions
• Proper use of medical devices (blood pressure monitors, glucose meters, etc.)
• Deliver patient services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure checks, and cholesterol management
• Compound medications for internal and external use; prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures
• Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians, clerks, and interns
• Manage inventory of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies
• Identify drug-related problems and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to resolve them
