Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) : Days (12-hour shifts)

Responsibilities

This opportunity is full-time, offers full benefits, and a convenient dayshift (6 : 30am-7 : 00pm) schedule and rotates every other weekend and holiday.

Part-Time and PRN available : some benefits and sign-on bonus are excluded !

There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

This position also qualifies for our $5,000 sign-on bonus!

Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. LPN Role / Responsibilities :

• The Licensed Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center.
• The Licensed Practical Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager or DON.
• Monitors and documents patient condition and interventions provided reporting finding to the unit Charge Nurse / RN
• Monitors Nursing and Clinical Care plans and participates in Treatment Team meetings as necessary
• Provides supportive counseling and patient education
• The Licensed Practical Nurse facilitates medication administration activities in accordance with safe medication practices , including patient education
• The Licensed Practical Nurse responds to all crisis / emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safety
