GovCIO is currently hiring for a Project Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Information and Technology, Health Services Portfolio. The candidate should have experience with a civil agency, preferably the Department of Veterans Affairs. The environment is dynamic, and client needs are often evolving. As such, thought leadership, problem-solving, rapid learning, and carrying the innovative mindset needed to lead our clients through conceptualization, strategic planning, and execution is important. Additionally, flexibility and forward-thinking views are important for success. This position will be a fully remote US position with core hours Monday to Friday 8am-5pm eastern time.

Responsibilities

Project & Task Management

• Manage one or more projects of varying size and complexity; may supervise professional and technical personnel across disciplines.
• Take ownership of Jira stories, including cloning, updating, and closing tasks to ensure accurate tracking and progress.
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and implement intervention strategies to resolve issues and maintain productivity, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Schedule tasks and coordinate with team members to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Conduct project meetings and lead efforts in tracking, analysis, and reporting of project status and outcomes.

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department / team performance, and market factors.
