The Position

Night Shift Position

Shift Schedule : Sunday - Thursday (10 : 00 PM - 6 : 30 AM)

This position is eligible for shift Differential

As a Process Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the night shift operational processes within the organization to support and achieve business goals. You will evaluate the efficiency of workflow procedures identify inconsistencies and revise processing techniques as needed to improve deliverables and maximize this role you will also train new employees share best practices and ensure team members are fully qualified to perform their tasks. Additionally you will motivate and provide guidance to team members while cultivating and reinforcing group values norms and behaviors in alignment with Roche operating principles.

You will be expected to possess excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively lead your team and identify opportunities that drive the business forward. As this is a vital role in achieving organizational objectives your presence may be required on weekends holidays and during emergencies or exceptional conditions.

The Opportunity

Quality and Safety

Maintains the right to operate by ensuring all processes are safe and healthy addressing unsafe hazards and reporting incidents hazards and near misses promptly.

Ensures audit readiness (OSHA FAA FDA etc.) represents the team during audits / inspections and ensures quality objectives are met through an effective quality system.

Maintains accurate complete procedures and instructions for material handling (e.g. receipt quarantine storage and disbursement) in compliance with regulatory and company policies (e.g. FDA OSHA FAA QSR ISO GMP MEEs).

Coordinates and facilitates training (e.g. NCRs OJT Operating Procedures Manufacturing Work Instructions) to ensure greater than 95% compliance while updating related instructions and collaborating with other functions.

Ensures inventory accuracy and adherence to control processes such as TECO and cycle counts and assists with NCR investigations reworks and corrective actions.

Supports daily operations by ensuring compliance accuracy in documentation and the implementation of continuous improvements.

Production

Monitors balances and delegates tasks to employees and contractors to achieve production goals and meet schedules.

Provides 2040% line support including material handling product assembly bulk solution formulation ensuring material availability and performing SAP transactions packet reviews and audit processes.

Interfaces with complex systems / controls in a regulated manufacturing environment to improve efficiency and maintain adherence to protocols and validations.

Completes end-of-shift reports / pass downs to ensure strong communication and coordination between shifts and teams.

Leads multiple production lines while managing maintenance and calibration of equipment in designated areas.

Continuous Improvement

Ensures compliance with 6S cycle times and standard work; identifies and implements continuous process improvements.

Facilitates / participates in Tier and staff meetings identifies problems proposes solutions and implements preventative measures.

Tracks and analyzes data (e.g. Safety Quality Cost Delivery metrics) to drive operational improvements and support excellence initiatives.

Teamwork and Collaboration

Collaborates with peers across shifts and functions to meet daily production targets.

Provides feedback to leaders on employee performance including contributions attendance and quality for performance management.

Oversees the successful onboarding of new employees and contractors.

Participates in interviews to support team growth and development.

Completes other duties as assigned by management.

Who You Are

You have an Associates Degree. Are equivalencies acceptable No

You have 3 years of relevant work experience preferably in GMP environment.

Experience leading teams or projects preferred.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required

Demonstrated experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement and proficiency with Google products (e.g. gMail gSheets gDoc).

High degree of initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong communication skills including the ability to read write and comprehend English effectively.

Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and inspire and influence others.

Skilled at working punctually quickly and accurately in high-volume fast-paced and constantly changing environments.

Strong organizational planning and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to provide and receive feedback in a coaching manner.

Excellent critical thinking problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Previous experience with ERP and SAP systems preferred.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tucson AZ is 52400.00 - 97400.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications geographic location and other job-related factors permitted by law.
