The quality systems lead is responsible for supervising the Quality Systems team, assigning tasks, and ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of quality management systems. You will track progress, develop corrective actions, oversee compliance communication, and mentor your team to drive continuous improvement :
- Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the design and implementation of cutting-edge quality management systems that proactively identify and mitigate risks across all operational facets.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to innovate, refine, and ensure consistent application of quality assurance protocols and management standards across multiple product lines, ensuring compliance with evolving industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and champion data-driven quality improvement initiatives that leverage advanced analytics and quality data to enhance product reliability, customer satisfaction, and support decision-making.
- Oversee complex audits, both internal and external, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Mentor and empower quality assurance professionals through leadership in training programs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, creative problem-solving, and quality excellence within the team.
- Collaborate with partners to integrate quality considerations early in the product lifecycle, driving efficiency and reducing rework.
- Manage resource allocation dynamically to meet evolving project demands and organizational priorities.
- Serve as a key advisor to senior management on quality system performance and strategic quality initiatives.
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to enhance quality processes and resolve systemic issues effectively.
What we are looking for
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Quality Management, or Life Sciences.6-8 years of progressive experience in quality systems management or related fields, demonstrating leadership capabilities.Proven expertise in quality management systems standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or equivalent).Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven quality improvement and corrective action planning.Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively mentor staff and liaise with cross-functional teams.Desired QualificationsProven expertise in leveraging modern quality management software and data analytics tools to drive strategic decision-making.Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide multidisciplinary teams towards achieving ambitious quality objectives.Strong analytical mindset paired with excellent communication skills to translate complex quality data into actionable insights for stakeholders.Experience in conducting and managing internal and third-party audits.Capability to develop and implement comprehensive training programs focused on quality standards and compliance.Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges : $110,500.00 - $156,000.00. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
