About The Position

Pay Rate : $68.00 - $72.00 / Hourly.

Summary : Under general supervision and following established procedures, operates highly technical Ultrasound equipment which produces high-frequency sound to acquire images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed high-frequency sound for diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Works effectively with patients and the patient's families and maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel.

• Perform general ultrasound exams, including abdominal, pelvic, and small-parts studies.
• Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
• Capture clear, accurate images for physician review.
• Maintain and clean ultrasound equipment and rooms.
