AlliedTravelCareers is working with Acruex Health to find a qualified EEG Tech in Portland, Oregon, 97213!

Pay Rate : $38.00 - $42.00 / Hourly.

Summary : The EEG Technologist performs routine and complex electroencephalographic (EEG) recordings on patients of all ages to assist physicians in diagnosing neurological conditions such as epilepsy, seizures, sleep disorders, encephalopathies, and other brain dysfunctions. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, patient-care abilities, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities :

• Greet, identify, and prepare patients for EEG procedures.
• Explain the test, address questions, and provide reassurance to anxious patients.
• Work with adults, children, infants, and special-needs patients, adapting procedures as necessary.
• Monitor EEG tracings in real-time to identify abnormalities, artifacts, or significant events.
