As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrol in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with staff and visitors to provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate : $27.00 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any irregularities according to site protocols.
  • Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents.
  • Complete detailed incident and activity reports as required by Allied Universal and the location.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to security-related emergencies within the financial institution environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
