Installer, Garage Doors

OVERVIEW

The Installer Garage Doors is responsible for the professional installation service and repair of residential and / or commercial garage doors openers and related hardware. This role requires strong mechanical skills attention to detail and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions

Install residential and / or commercial garage doors and openers in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards

Load transport and unload materials tools and hardware to job sites

Inspect job site conditions and verify measurements prior to installation

Use hand and power tools to assemble and install door sections track springs cables and other components

Ensure proper functionality alignment and safety of installed systems

Communicate effectively with customers on-site regarding the scope of work timelines and proper door operation

Maintain a clean and organized work environment including company vehicles

Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Complete job documentation accurately and in a timely manner

Perform other duties as assigned by management

Competencies / Skills / Abilities

High School Diploma or GED required

Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand / power tools

Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor

Valid drivers license with a clean driving record required

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent time management and reliability

Strong customer service and communication skills

Experience in construction carpentry or garage door installation a plus

Willingness to work in indoor and outdoor environments and various weather conditions
