Staff Accountant

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to support accurate financial reporting and ensure financial data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Perform monthly close activities in accordance with US GAAP

Reconcile balance sheet accounts and manage accounts receivable billing

Prepare and file multi-state sales tax reports and support annual audit requests

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; field of study in Accounting preferred

2-4 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role

Direct experience with general ledger account reconciliations and journal entries

Working knowledge of GAAP and accrual-based accounting

Experience using accounting software and proficiency in Excel
